We love how the lines of natural wood grain emerge as part of the sand blasting process, making each and every sign a unique product. Most sand blasted signs are made from clear heart redwood (aka western cedar), though we like to use other types of "b" grade woods too, as they will show some of the knots (which adds character, in our opinion). All kinds of different finished can be applied to them, from quality paints, to gold leafing or vinyl trimming. If you're looking for something more natural and traditional, this may be the way to go.
